Pincushion/Sewing Tidy

This parterre garden is a Robyn Rich design from Inspirations called 'Blooms', made in calico with a covered cardboard base, where scissors and things can be slipped in under the cushion. Very pretty, and yet inexpensive to make.

  3. Hi Lulu! Thank you for your comment on my blog. And I am very excited to find yours! I am going back through all your posts of projects from Inspirations magazine - they are all astonishingly beautiful. I have every issue of this magazine, saving them for a time when the children have grown & I can give some of the projects my undivided attention. My embroidery these days is limited to 'quick' projects mostly in backstitch, but my heart is with the exquisite stitching that you do. My new issue of Inspirations arrived today, so I'm off to have a coffee with it, & your blog! Best wishes, Bloom.
