I've finished the placemats. They were fun and didn't take very long to do. Now I'm waiting to see Debs version.




Last nights tomato soup was very tasty, and easy to make. Next time I'll add a slurp of cream I think.

Easter Presents

I'm currently working on two Easter placemats for a young grand-niece and grand-nephew, using the one below as inspiration, lifted from Shelia's blog called The Heart of Sewing. A fun project. I've been using a needle specially made for fusible applique, and I have to say, it makes it much easier, and doesn't make my fingers sore.

Autum Flush

My sister has a gorgeous big garden, and this rose is near her front door, looking very romantic.

These twigs are for an Easter egg tree, using Roses' as inspiration.
