Easter Presents

I'm currently working on two Easter placemats for a young grand-niece and grand-nephew, using the one below as inspiration, lifted from Shelia's blog called The Heart of Sewing. A fun project. I've been using a needle specially made for fusible applique, and I have to say, it makes it much easier, and doesn't make my fingers sore.
