    why do they call it Labor Day anyway...have to Google it and find out for myself..... i am just glad we get a holiday to work in the garden or get the last jobs done before the cold sets in and it gets dark earlier.... Dont like the windeter months but i do like what is at the end of them...SPRING... roll on roll on...(sorry got a bit carried away there)

    Labour day was created to celebrate the 8 hour working day.
    Funny how many now choose to work 12hours. But I guess the rights of the worker are celebrated on labour day.
    It's a lovely holiday!!
