Interesting ....

Gertie's blog has an interesting article about fitting vintage dress patterns to the modern body.  But seriously, did anyone ever really have a waist this tiny?

    Oh my goodness i remember when i had a waist that small.....(Just 7 stone)....only just though...those were the days hey???

    Yes, interesting indeed. I remember reading publications in the '50's, such as 'Home Journal', and wondering how the patterns in those drawings fitted the buxom women in our family - lol.
