My favourite dog from yesterday's dog walking at the Dog's Home, was Elmer. I lifted this photo from their website because I couldn't get a better one. He's 10, and was found wandering, picked up, and was never collected by the owner. So some lucky person will get to take him home. He's a staffie, he's short and stocky, maybe a bit too festively plump 'cos he weighs a ton, but he's a total sweetheart. Dead easy on a lead, placid, but affectionate. And he has a lot of grey on his face which lends him a distinguished look.

He looks like he's be a good dog, hope he finds a loving home. It must be hard to leave each day with all those gorgeous eyes looking at you.
