Baby Bibs
I made a couple of bibs for a friends new grandbaby, and backstitched some motifs on the fronts. It isn't very neat because the weave of the fabric was really loose, and I should have backed it with some interfacing. And now that I look at the first photo, I didn't line up the rows very well either. But a blind man on a galloping horse wouldn't notice. I hope.

O i love your baby bib. Did you see my new granddaughter on my blog. Have you got a pattern for this bib or did you make your own up
ReplyDeleteI'm not a man on a galloping horse and they look really nice to me :-)
ReplyDeleteHow cute your little bibs are!! Lisa
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely bibs - the 'galloping man on a blind horse' would be delighted with them! So will the grandbaby!!
ReplyDeletePossibly a lining to make them more absorbent would also cover the back of the bib, but they look wonderful as they are (hopefuylly you don't have a dribbly baby in the family...).
Thank you for the comments on my blog, too.
Hugs,
Jas
