At the weekend I checked out a quilt exhibit in Ulverstone. I didn't take any photos, but some of the work there was amazing. Then a quick look through Leven Antiques & Collectables over the road, and I couldn't help bringing these home. A crochet heat pad and two hand towels, because I liked the applique:

And I have always liked madeira applique:
