I have my Mums one of these but not sure what all the dials are for? Would love to get hold of a free manual

ReplyDeleteI too have had one gifted to me, she is immaculate. Mine has the name of the original manufacturer. Sold in Australia and New Zealand as Globe.
ReplyDeleteYou can get the manuals (I was so lucky, mine was included but the retailer, Perth Sewing centre removed the original cover. Not helpful) ready for it.....

A Frister and Rossman Cub 7.
You may be pleased to know that your lovely machine is classed a semi industrial. (Roll out the hand bags if please) . Singer U.K. tried to sue them when first imported. These machines date from 1864. Works of art.
I hope this can be of help. It was torture for me to find . My sticker across the front where yours says globe mine has Frister Rossman, but it's not the same as the pics of international ones. Missing some details, like cub 7.
I have this exact same machine, my mum bought it for my sister and i when we were children brand new, still have most of the parts including the instruction book and have just started sewing again after many many years...still going strong for such an old machine...good to refresh and learn again on :)
